Daniel Olalla is an Argentine singer-songwriter from Mendoza, formed in music since childhood and nurtured by a deep ministry heritage. In 2010 he released «Mira al Cielo», an album that took him to tours in Brazil and Portuguese versions. His album Fui Hallado brings together six songs of faith, return and grace, inspired by the greatness of a Father who runs to meet the son.
Daniel Olalla, from the Argentine province of Mendoza, grew up among strings, keyboards and songs. In his home, music was always present, not only artistically but also from a ministry perspective. Surrounded by choir directors, worship leaders and ministers who have shared a fresh message through music, it was clear that Daniel would continue that legacy.
Although he had academic training in music, he did not limit himself to becoming just a good pianist and guitarist. His spiritual search took him beyond the technical and he began to translate each of his experiences with God into melodies. Thus was born his path in the art of composition, a path that continues to flourish with each stage of his walk.
In 2010, shortly after marrying Nabila, Daniel released his first record production titled «Mira al Cielo». This album opened unexpected doors for him, taking him to new latitudes and presenting his music in the Brazilian market. The great acceptance of the project gave way to tours in Brazil and to Portuguese versions of several of his songs.
The arrival of his children, Kadima and Lorenzo, took him into a deep time of intimacy with God. That process prompted him to reconsider his priorities and fully embrace his calling as husband and father. Today he sees as fruit a family devoted to the service of God and a clearer understanding of the divine purpose for his life and ministry.
Daniel chose to listen to God's voice and wait for His direction when everything seemed to indicate he was at the gates of a successful musical career. And it was in that apparent silence that he found something the stages could not give him: depth, intimacy and purpose.
